This album is more of a casual doodle, a quick back-of-the-envelope calculation, and a love letter never meant to be sent. The six songs originated as separate experiments, each representing ideas I had for entire albums. However, due to being incredibly busy, exploring other interests, and feeling generally fatigued these days, I found myself with a full-length singular album.

The B-sides to this album no longer exist; they've been deleted. The final song proved to be a challenging journey, with numerous false starts before reaching completion.

The initial three songs started as acoustic guitar chord progressions that I casually played while in the living room watching TV with my son or simply passing the time. When I decided to record them, I realized attempting to achieve a perfect recording of the acoustic guitar piece would be a futile endeavor. Instead, I used them as starting points for a fuller band sound. Ironically, recording something simple and refined turned out to be more challenging than capturing a loud and noisy atmosphere.

"BackHome" is a chord progression I've been toying with for a while. While recording this version, my intention was to create a 'normal' song, something that might fit on a late 90s alt-rock album like OK Computer.

"Talking To" unexpectedly became a revival of an idea I had many years ago. It follows an upward spiral/snowball structure, reminiscent of the song "Spiral Down" from my 2014 Anhedonia album.
